Quick Start (3 Steps)

Create Account

Sign up with email + password or Magic Link (no password). Choose your role: Buyer, Seller, Agent, or Developer.

Complete Onboarding

All new users complete a 3-step wizard: Profile details → Preferences (locations, budget) → Verification (ID upload for agents/developers).

Start Using POGO

Access your role-specific dashboard. Buyers browse properties, Sellers list properties, Agents manage clients, Developers showcase projects.

Email + Password

Traditional login. Best if you use a password manager.

  • Minimum 12 characters with mixed case, numbers & symbols
  • "Remember me" for 30-day sessions
  • Forgot password → reset link via email

Magic Link (Passwordless)

No password needed. Enter email → get secure link → click to sign in.

  • Link expires in 15 minutes
  • Single-use only (auto-invalidates after click)
  • Rate limited: 3 requests per 15 minutes
  • Works for both login & registration

Access via sidebar dropdown (desktop) or hamburger menu (mobile) → Settings

Required during onboarding: CAC certificate, business license, tax clearance.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I change my role after signup?

No, your role is set during registration. If you need a different role, create a new account with that role. You can have multiple accounts with different emails.

What if I don't receive the Magic Link email?

Check spam/junk folder. Links expire in 15 minutes. If still not received, use "Sign in with password instead" or request a new link (max 3 per 15 min).

Is my data secure?

Yes. Passwords are bcrypt-hashed. Magic links are single-use, 15-min expiry, rate-limited. 2FA & Passkeys available. Documents encrypted at rest. We never share your data without consent.

How do I delete my account?

Go to Settings → Profile → scroll to bottom → "Delete Account". Requires password confirmation. This permanently removes all your data.

Can I use POGO on mobile?

Yes! The website is fully responsive. Add to home screen for app-like experience. Mobile bottom nav gives quick access to Search, Saved, Messages, Profile.
